iPhone 5S Rumor Roundup – 13MP Camera, BioMetric Finger Print Security… โญโญโญโญ ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ

iPhone 5S to BioMetric Finger Print capability, Secure Cryptographic Libraries, for High Security for Personal Information, making way for Apple iWallet payment Method – No more Credit Cards to Fumble through, Card Cloning or Loss.

๐Ÿ”ข A sales-sheet for the Apple iPhone 5S has surfaced from a Japanese telecom. The sales-sheet claims that Apple will begin offering pre-orders on June 20, 2013 and will then launch in July. The document claims that the iPhone 5S will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and offer the yet-to-be-announced iOS 7 OS.

๐Ÿ”ข Very few solid rumors regarding the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 have surfaced at this time. Apple is expected to upgrade to iOS 7 and add a faster processor, improved retina display, NFC support, 4G, 802.11ac wireless networking, and potentially a low-cost version of its popular iPhone line.

๐Ÿ”ข Very Ingteresting. It had been suggested there could be three variants of the new iPhones, nicknamed the iPhone 6 Mini (some folks want a more compact phone), iPhone 6 (the next iteration with a 4" display) and iPhone 6 XL (perhaps this model has a larger display many have been hoping for)

๐Ÿ”ข Pictures of iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 parts have leaked. โ€œThe pictures display the loud-speaker bracket, ear speaker bracket, vibrating motor assembly, Wi-Fi flex cable ribbon and SIM card tray.โ€ No features were released, but thereโ€™s notable physical differences from the iPhone 5 components.

๐Ÿ”ข The iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 rumors point to either a sapphire-covered or capacitive touch home button. The home button is notoriously the first component to break in any of the iPhone, including the iTouch. iPhone gesture control may also be incorporated.

๐Ÿ”ข Appleโ€™s purchase of AuthenTec may soon play a major part for new iPhone innovations. It was a shrewd move that CEO Tim Cook made that has been largely unnoticed. This technology provides Apple with a very Unique New feature designed to virtually eliminate passwords.

1โƒฃ Apple is getting closer to launching the next version of its iPhone later this year. If the Cupertino, California based company wants to keep up with Samsung, Google and others, it needs to innovate. Thatโ€™s where the Tip of Your Finger literally comes in to play.

2โƒฃ This is NEWS. Michael Barrett, chief information security officer of PayPal, hinted that Apple and other smartphone manufacturers are going to incorporate fingerprint readers on their smartphones as part of new way to protect personal information.

๐Ÿ”  Michael Barrett said: โ€œItโ€™s widely rumored that a large technology provider in Cupertino, California, will come out with a phone later this year that has a fingerprint reader on it.โ€

3โƒฃ This rumor has been around for a while, but itโ€™s the first time weโ€™ve heard an Executive at a major company indirectly confirm or validate BioMetric iPhone capability. โ€œThere is going to be a fingerprint enabled phone on the market later this year,โ€ Barrett said during a keynote address at Interop. โ€œNot just one, multiple.โ€

4โƒฃ Apple needs a hit feature or two on the next iPhone to show that innovation is alive and well in Cupertino. In all fairness any company in this highly competitive smartphone arena needs continual innovation to help assure market-place growth. Fingerprint scanning technology, along with an updated version of iOS 7, could be just that "extra juice" to fuel Apple’s growth.

๐Ÿ”  Remember, Apple did not invent the Personal Music Player; Apple did not invent the SmartPhone; and Apple did not invent the Tablet. However, what Apple did was to totally Re-Invent these products (the iPod, iPhone and iPad) to such a High level of Quality, that it seems as though these products never existed before.

5โƒฃ Earlier rumors have suggested that the iPhone 5S will include several internal changes such as a faster processor, a better camera and possibly a fingerprint bio-metric scanner that makes use of Appleโ€™s AuthenTec acquisition.

6โƒฃ Nothing has been confirmed at this point, but leaked photos of redesigned internal components suggest that Apple is indeed planning an overhaul of the internal geography to improve various iPhone features and to likely make room for new components as well, namely the Finger-Print Scanner and its related digitizing processors.

7โƒฃ Appleโ€™s next-generation iPhone 5S is widely expected to feature the same external design as the iPhone 5, just as previous โ€œSโ€ upgrades have in the past. But looks can be deceiving. While Appleโ€™s flagship iPhone for 2013 may appear externally to be the same as the iPhone 5, the phone may feature a significant internal redesign when it launches this fall.

8โƒฃ AuthenTec is a leading provider of mobile and network security, whose diverse product and technology offering helps protect individuals and organizations through secure networking, content and data protection, access control and strong fingerprint security. AuthenTec encryption technology, fingerprint sensors and identity management software are deployed by the leading mobile device, networking and computing companies, content and service providers, and Governments worldwide. AuthenTecโ€™s products and technologies provide security on hundreds of millions of devices. Top tier customers include Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Fujitsu, HBO, HP, Lenovo, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Orange, Sky, and Texas Instruments.

8โƒฃ BioMetrics and Finger Print identification are cool terms indeed. However, there is a lot of science that has to be packed into a small package for "Positive-Identification" to be consistent and assured in the creating of Secure Cryptographic Libraries. These graphics were abstracted from reports discussing the mathematics and logistics necessary to accurately refine and focus on the Finger Print. This process sounds really cool, but there are thousands of man-hours behind the processes necessary to assure very high quality security, to the order of tens-of-millions of combinations.

9โƒฃ Having personally supervised the installation very sophisticated "Finger Print and Palm Print" identification systems costing on average $250,000, to secure commercial office buildings, the user set-up is quite simple. A user that has been permitted access, simply initially swipes all 10 fingers, three to five swipes for each finger; This assures the system to record accurate, reliable, digitized images, creating a secure Cryptographic Library for this user. This user thereafter enters an 8 digit password twice; This PassWord may be used in the event this user has damaged, cut, or bruised their fingers causing the system to reject finger-print cryptographic access. What goes on internally, "behind the scenes" is amazing; The notion that this technology can be squeezed into iPhones and iPads, using a cryptographic enabled HOME button, covered with a Sapphire-Crystal-Lens for best finger-image transmission through to a CCD imager for digitizing, boggles the mind.
