iPhone 5 Can’t be Beaten ~ iPhone is the Top Selling at Essentially All Global Carriers โญโญโญโญ ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ

iPhone 5 can’t be beaten ~ iPhone is the Top Selling at Essentially All Global Carriers. In a research note to investors on Wednesday, analyst Canaccord Genuity reported that in June, the iPhone 5 was the top-selling smartphone "at essentially all global carriers." However, the analysts also found that since the launch of the Galaxy S4 this year, Apple has been marginally losing global market share to Samsung. Canaccord didn’t say how much of an impact the Galaxy S4 has had on the iPhone.

But that’s not Apple’s only issue. Canaccord also believes that "high-tier smartphones," like the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4, will experience "softening demand" over the next several months. The company was especially surprised by the strong demand for Apple’s iPhone 4, which launched a few years ago, and was therefore forced to lower its iPhone sales estimates this quarter from 30 million units down to 28 million.

Lets think about how Apple is the Top Selling Smart Phone in virtually all Global Carriers, yet loosing some market-share. There can be several reasons for this paradox. Firstly Apple has been in the Mobile Phone business 2007, where Samsung and many others have been in the smart phone arena for decades. Therefore iPhone competitors have a larger network of Carriers globally.

Recall Apple’s iPhone was only available to AT&T during 2007-2010, and thereafter to for 4 other USA Carriers. Globally it is believed that the iPhone has arrangements with just under 300 carriers, whereas, Android smartphones are supported by hundreds more carriers globally.

Apple’s iPhone therefore is as reported the Top Selling SmartPhone in virtually every global mobile Carrier; however, Apple only has Carrier Arrangements with about 50% of the Global Carriers.

Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO mentioned in his recent Financial Results Conference Call, that it was "signing-up" another 35 Carriers globally next month. As Apple continues to increase the number of Carriers in the US and Globally, its Market-Share should continue to expand, assuming Apple continues to deliver the high quality smart phones it has in recent years.

Apple’s earnings performance appears to be at a near-perfect balance of delivering a very high quality iPhone at a profit margin that is acceptable to the market place. Tim Cook continues to insist that it’s in Apple’s culture, that its not in business to deliver the Most smart phones, but to deliver the very best iPhone for its customers.

In looking at the graphics, notice that the iPhone 4S (last year’s iPhone model) is out-selling the Galaxy S4, only after 50 days of Samsung’s release of this newest smartphone. Samsung’s executives and shareholders have been very unhappy with Galaxy S4’s sales figures; Apparently Galaxy customers are also displeased with the S4. It has been reported that Galaxy-Android retention rates are at 78%, meaning that 22% of Andriod customers are switching to the iPhone. Apple’s retention rate exceeds 96%, with less than 4% migrating elsewhre.

In another of the graphics displayed, notice the huge number of Samsung mobile devices. It seems that they are cannibalizing their own users, perhaps to such an extent that it is driving clients to Apple, who has a much more orderly line-up of devices.
