TIME magazine makes a fat joke for its cover on Chris Christie. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who romped his opponent with his re-election victory Tuesday night; Christie may have become a leader in the Republican Party, however, is featured on the magazineโ€™s cover this week.

On the cover, TIME called Christie, โ€œThe Elephant in the Room.โ€ The cover directs readers to three stories, including:
๐ŸŒ a look at Christieโ€™s game plan for seeking a Presidential nomination,
๐ŸŒ Excerpts from Double Down by TIMEโ€™s Mark Halperin
๐ŸŒ New Yorkโ€˜s John Heilemann, the turmoil of Christieโ€™s vetting as a VP candidate for Mitt Romney
๐ŸŒ Column by Joe Scarborough about how Christie can unite Republicans
๐ŸŒ Christieโ€™s outsized influence in his party and the discomfort he causes some fellow Republicans who consider him, well, the elephant in the room.
